OOC For Second Chances
25 posts total, I think, this time around. Sorry these are taking me so long to get done. After next week I should be able to pick up the pace a bit. Hope everyone enjoys :)
Cordy's safely back in L.A. Oddly enough, she seems to be looking forward to Angel finding out that she knows exactly what he's been up to while she was away... Maybe she should sell tickets...makes some cash in the process?
Angel's all sullen and confused. The only thing new is it's about Faith, not Buffy...
Lindsey's being oddly domestic. Something that seems to both shock and delight Eve. Somehow it just makes me nauseous...their attempt at a picture perfect, completely fake family with Connor.
Lorne seems to have settled rather nicely into life at Wolfram & Hart. We were expecting what with cushy surroundings like that, and inside connections to any celebrity he could possibly want to meet?
Apparently Willow's realised running was a bad plan. And a lot faster than I would have figured, given everything. Let's just hope everything goes as well as she needs it to.
Giles feels all out-of-the-loopy. Can't say I blame him for a second, what with Buffy, Dawn and Willow all took off without a word. Oh, yeah, and the most important thing? He, too, is on his way back to the U.S.
Cordy returns to L.A. and does some much needed catching up, however briefly, with Wes.
Angelus continues his last minute preparations. Then goes out for dinner. Well, I guess even evil has to eat eventually.
Well anyone with half a brain could have told you putting Wes, Faith and Angel all in a room together was the furthest thing from a good idea. Especially when you factor in her recent activities with both...
You know, I'd suggest someone tell Angelus to get a freaking hobby, except for one little thing: This is his hobby!
Angel worries some more about Faith. Looks like he's in as much in need of a hobby as his evil doppelganger.
Buffy seems to be making herself at home in Angel's office. Figures this is an opportune time for Angelus to pretend like he's the goody-goody and have some fun with the Slayer.
Tara's a wee bit confused. Okay, really freaked out, but one would assume, though, that being recorporealised when your body is decomposing in the bottom of a crater has got to rank pretty freaking up there in terms of 'what the hell is going on?'
Fred sure is pretty proud of her accomplishments. Wonder what Angel's gonna say when he hears about the lab (or the money spent to build the source of the explosion). Somehow I doubt Fred's caring at the moment.
Angelus is understandably proud of the mess he's making of Faith's psyche. 'Cause that's just the kind of upstanding guy he is.
And Riley joins the flood of current and former Scoobies trekking to the City of Angeles. I wonder, how far is far enough to out run your memories?
And Buffy gets her huge shock of the day. Spike's not a pile of ash in the bottom of the crater she left him in.
Isn't this a cute little reunion. Or proof of how small the world really is. In a city the size of L.A. Riley and Giles not only end up on the same plane, but then end up staying at the same hotel as Buffy and Dawn?
Poor Connor. Trapped in the Los Angeles Public Library. Doing research, of course. Not because there's anything remotely otherworldly going on with him at all.
Well, doesn't that just figure. Angel goes to the store to get his girlfriend some more bandages and candy to boot, and she's no where to be found when he gets back...
Somehow this should have seemed entirely logical and expected: where Riley is, Graham is soon to follow.
It appears that the mouthier, dare I say sluttier, Tara clone has some big-time secrets of her own.
Angelus continues his little game with another round of 'Make Faith Crazier.' Oh, and to answer your question Faith? People do live in Canada. About 32 Million in fact. It's just that that's what? 10 percent, or something crazy like that, of the population of the US.
Wow, Graham, spoil a girl you just met a little more, why don't you?
Maybe if he took a second to slow down, he would have noticed that not everything with one of Wolfram & Hart's newest employees is exactly as it seems.
